Live Lobster

At Stoney Island Fisheries (2022) Limited, we know that the best lobsters are caught in the cold, fresh water of Canada's north Atlantic Ocean.

Our many years' experience in lobster handling guarantees that our lobsters remain fresh and ready for our customers to enjoy. Our lobsters are stored in temperature controlled tanks and monitored closely to provide the ideal conditions to ensure they are vigorous and well seasoned for shipping. Our live product is carefully packed in CFIA approved boxes or crates and shipped under climate controlled conditions to guarantee low mortality upon arrival. 

The majority of our lobster market is within North America with most of our live product being distributed to customers in Canada. 


Our facility is located close the wharf so that we have access to the freshest lobsters, brought into our plant directly from the boats each day.

Our careful handling methods ensure that our lobsters stay fresh and ready for customers to enjoy. 

Stored in temperature controlled tanks, with excellent circulation and aeration, our lobsters are monitored closely to provide the ideal conditions required for them to be well seasoned and lively for shipping. 

Grading areas allow us to work quickly and efficiently so that orders are made ready in the shortest time possible.

Our product is carefully packed in lobster crates and shipped under controlled conditions to guarantee low mortality rate.
